When we remove your braces, we will begin the retention stage of your treatment. Your doctor will determine which type of retainer is best for you. We recommend that you wear your reatainers full-time until your Doctor instructs you otherwise.  We will see you every 3 to 6 months for a 24 month period to check your retainers and make any adjustments that are needed.  Your final orthodontic result depends on your retainers, so follow through with the hard work you’ve put in so far. Remember to remove your retainer before brushing, and brush your retainer before placing it back in your mouth.
